Hi Patti! ...the view from the trolley was fantastic. I couldn't think of a better way to see this beautiful area.

Make your Hearst Castle tour something special. Let Central Coast Trolley arrange an outing you won’t forget!

Your tour of the Castle will take about three hours. That leaves a lot of day, and here you are in the middle of one of the most gorgeous places in America. We will be glad to arrange a Private Charter custom tour or Paso Robles wine tour for you and your guests that will match your preferences and exceed your expectations.  Call us at 1 800-992-9633 or locally 805-296-9633 to let us know how we can serve you.

Here’s some of the options you might consider. If there’s something you would like to add to the list, we can accommodate.

  • Hearst Castle tour: There are 5 different tours of the Castle that you can choose from:
    • Experience Tour – The basic tour recommended for first time visitors.
    • Upper Floors of Casa Grande – Walk through the opulent living quarters of William Randolph Hearst to see how they really lived.
    • North Wing of Casa Grande – Compare the largest Guest House with the newest wing of the Castle, the North Wing.
    • Garden Tour – Hearst went to great lengths to install lasting grandeur in the botanical gardens, and modern gardeners honor his legacy.
    • Evening Tour – Lights, docents in costume, lots of stairs—this special tour is for walkers and is available in spring and fall only.
  • Central Coast and Paso Robles Wine Tasting: This is one of our specialties. Look at our Paso Robles wine country tour page  for details, but suffice it to say that adding an afternoon wine tasting tour is really easy and really wonderful.
  • Lunch anyone? If you are going to enjoy a special day on a Hearst Castle tour plus the Paso Robles wine tour, you will need sustenance. We offer either catered lunch or sit down lunches at a special San Luis Obispo County restaurant. The options for a delicious lunch are endless…
  • Piedras Blancas lighthouse and the Elephant Seals: Not far north of Hearst Castle, these are two of the more spectacular attractions of the California Central Coast.
  • Cambria, California: Lots of visitors spend their whole time on the Central Coast in Cambria, relaxing in this charming village, shopping in unique stores and galleries. And, it’s one of those great places for lunch or dinner, too, to put a break into your non-stop Paso Robles wine tasting tour.

The list can be longer. Please give us a call to find out what kind of delightful Paso Robles wine tasting tour or other outings we can arrange for you. All of them start with a good time on a trolley. There’s no better way to visit the California Central Coast.
